The staff was fantastic! The amenities were great as always! Only downside was the room was not dusted food remained on the chairs and side of dining table as well as crumbs on the floor. I figure it was just an off day for house keeping. I will come back here as I love the staff and the location!

We had a wonderful time at this property for our family trip in July. We would definitely stay again! Room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Beautiful views! They made it very special from the free bike rentals, s’mores at night, popcorn/candy bar, to the kids coloring contest. We have wonderful memories of our trip because of this place! HIGHLY recommend!

EVERYTHING! 1st the staff working was amazing- they had warm cookies and a hot cocoa bar in the lobby- and the staff were so friend and accommodating. The room was SUPERB! they even had a cute note left for me on the dining table in the room which i thought was such a personal touch! We stayed here and went to Bentleyville and they even had a FREE shuttle to take guests there- the shuttle was decked out in holiday lights and pillows and even had fun "gifts" for the kiddos! When we got back the lobby had a "write a letter to Santa" so the kiddos wrote their letter. The pool was a little chilly and the hottub was down due to maintenance. The next day during checkout- "Santa" had written the kiddos back and the kiddos were ecstatic! Just an overall great experience staying there- will definitely be back to stay there again!

Easy check in. Lovely hot chocolate bar upon arrival. Free shuttles to Bentleyville. Gorgeous view over Lake Superior. So nice to be out of the bustle of Canal Park! Easy access to UMD or St. Scholastica. We will be booking again.

Only two problems otherwise wonderful stay. Fireplace not working and was never fixed in the 3 nights we stayed. Water did not get hot in the bathroom. Showers were “warm”; didn’t use the jacuzzi tub as the water stayed cool.
