Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
This hotel is good for a quick stay if you're looking for something convenient to both the airport and Dublin city center. There's no AC in the rooms, and it's a bit of an older building so you can hear your neighbors' every move. Comfortable enough for a single night's stay.
Painting on the same floor as we stayed. Horrible toxic smell. We were asked to keep our windows closed despite the smell. Rude senior front staff. The newer employees were fabulous. Coffee hidden inside dresser drawer!!!! The noise was unbearable.
The people were extremely nice and polite!! They even rearranged our rooms to be closer to for friends room even though they were nearly non vacant. Everything was perfect and cute and the food was great except for 2 things.... it was freshly painted with toxic paint and we were not informed at all and caused a headache and so I had to leave, open my windows and come back later...the smell had died down thank goodness. The beds were okay.
Definitely not worth the money and wouldn’t even consider it an hotel. Just reception looks good and well refurnished. The rooms are so old the floor cracks you can literally hear everything from above floor.
Well kept, clean and modern hotel. Nice quiet, clean and spacious bedroom. A mirror over the dressing table would have been nice. Good selection of restaurants within a 10 minute walk, including Station Bar, where food was good. Shame the Italian in the hotel was closed though. Staff were lovely and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again, it was excellent value for money.

Disappointed
Paid for breakfast but you’re not allowed Latte - that’s extra & if you want to take drinks up to your room from the bar you have to take them in plastic glasses! Staff never asked how the stay was on exit.
Staff service was excellent. Two issues (missing hairdryer and non functioning shower guard causing flooding) were resolved almost immediately. I usually stay 5 star but service in this 3 star, in my experience, was better.
Our bathroom was in need of full refurbishment though…it was a disabled bathroom but lacked a large enough sink, functional shelving and functional shower guard for non-disabled guests and I know my disabled father would have struggled enormously.
Very large clean room. Good comfortable bedding, very soft pillows. Huge bathroom with both bath and shower. Good tea/coffee station (no fridge/no bottles of water). There are a number of nearby shops and fast food restaurants. It is walking distance to Temple Bar and Hop-On/Off bus stop.
Noise from late night revellers in the streets below during the weekend and nearby trains. Needs more soundproofing from corridor and movements from floor above.
Lovely hotel with really friendly staff. Food was really nice, we had breakfast and also had dinner in the bar. Would really recommend eating in the bar! The only thing negative I would say is the rooms need a little bit tending to. Could do with a lick of paint to freshen, but let’s be honest we didn’t spend too much time in the room. Overall real positive experience. Would def stay here again

Great location, nice lobby decor, bit noisy, cold room with heater not working.
The staff were wonderfully accommodating and very helpful. Wonderful shower pressure! Small European rooms for those from North America. Breakfast was well worth adding.
I had read about the noise, so was a little apprehensive; however, it was not crazy for a downtown hotel. Yes, you could hear the train and the people but the location and the ease of moving around the city and getting to the bus, train, airport made it worthwhile.
This area was very convenient to get to and move around Dublin.
