Romantic accommodation in Downtown Tacoma

The rooms were huge. Getting to the airport early the next morning only took 5 minutes. Great amenities for the price

Waited 1 hour for the shuttle

We were very unhappy with the cleaning. It was obvious that the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. There was a pair of dirty socks from the last visitor on the floor on the left side of the bed. Shower head needed tightening so it could be adjusted and leaked. The toilet rocked on the floor and had a lot of chalk that was obviously not fixing the problem. There was hair on the bathroom floor that didn't belong to us. It's an old hotel that needs some help. Bathrooms need to be redone and updated. Transportation to the airport was prompt. Staff was friendly and helpful. We need to store our luggage until our room was ready and they accommodated that.

The pool was closed in May, and the experience would be better if we had access to the lounge. You have to pay extra for that. For the cost of the hotel, more amenities ahould be included.
