Great facility. Great service. The deposit policy is kind of ridiculous though. $50 a day I totally understand but then the entire price I already prepaid for the FULL cost of my stay?! So I’m out $700 for the next 3-5 days. Absolutely ridiculous!!! I won’t stay with Marriott again.

Clean. Attached to Convention Center where we attended a 3 day event. Had to ask for linens. A/C system broken. Had repaired second day. No coffee available in room. Complimentary coffee in the lobby 20 floors down was completely empty. The only restaurant on the property had extremely slow service every meal we went there to eat (3). This was our second stay at this property. We will use a different hotel next time we're in Tacoma.

Stayed for a dance competition and the neighboring convention center. Easy to walk to and from the venue. Room didn’t have enough towels for the three of us on the reservation but more were provided on request. The room didn’t have a coffeemaker which I thought was strange but there was apparently coffee in the lobby. Our room was a bit noisy and we could hear others in neighboring rooms and across the hall. Not a lot of walkable places to eat nearby and the lobby restaurant had a buffet but I felt it was overpriced for eggs and bacon. This would have been the equivalent to an included breakfast at other hotels. Over all it was clean and just ok. I honestly would have expected more from a Marriott hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is that we had to pay almost $30 a day for parking one vehicle. Our room had a broken drawer that would stay open ajar, otherwise it was a nice stay.

I was there for one night, I was not given any information as to local restaurants, etc. there are not any within safe walking distance and I was a solo female. So then I had to drive and pay for parking close to a restaurant.. It would be nice if a hotel as large as that Marriott had better choices for food

It’s downtown Tacoma-that’s the description. The streets are empty and eerie. No people, no coffee shops, no bodegas, no nothing. Some shady looking youth on the corners. Otherwise it is very pretty. It’s 15 mins to the museum of glass and 15 to Tacoma Udab campus, which looked nice but eerily nevertheless. History museum, TAM, and the Port of Tacoma. Nice location if it was a normal town downtown 15 years ago ))) I mean I guess it’s everywhere like this.

Overall hotel is great, very quiet walls and windows. If i had to have a negative it would be the parking gatage is a bit tight.
