Market restaurant was excellent. The property still maintains a dated, fusty atmosphere, nowhere more so that in the reception/lobby area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location very central.

My sister, brother in law, husband and myself stayed at the Abbey hotel while on a road trip through Ireland. Unfortunately my brother in law passed while we were in Donegal town. Eirleene and the team could not have been more supportive, understanding and accommodating. They made such a massive loss less stressful by arranging us to lengthen our stay, numerous hugs and pure kindness. We will be forever grateful to them.
