Great location for accessing both Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain state parks. Kitchen is well stocked with things you need for cooking your own meals. Outdoor hangout spots include a front porch with rockers and glide bench, back deck with grill and table and a side patio with a firepit! Very clean, well kept!

Stained blankets Old, tired room. Was thinking the property was vacant.

the rooms are large, terrifically furnished, clean, great bedding/pillows, huge TV, fast wifi.... it is a superb value - and when in Winston, it will be my go too place.

There was an unpleasant odor in the room, perhaps from the type of cleaning product used. The room was ok for our very short stay. The blind was stuck down, but there was another building next to it, so the view was a brick wall.

Fine stay. Simple place. Clearly just renovated, but done in a decent way. I did hear a bit of noise both nights (dogs, kids), but nothing I couldn't sleep through.

We had a fabulous stay here! Eric and Karen are wonderful host and the cabin was just as described. It was exactly what we needed and it was so peaceful. The bed slept wonderful! And we enjoyed our coffee on the screened in porch! We have found a new weekend getaway! We will be back soon!
