I have stayed at the Albatross a few times now. The front desk staff range from extremely friendly and wonderful, to rude, ignorant and just downright unfriendly. My latest visit was enough to drive me away for good. The older, grey hair lady at the desk was just pure unpleasant. I did nothing but show up (after the appropriate check in time, not before) to check in and got nothing but rudeness. She was worse to the people who were there before me. And when we walked in with our bags we could hear her talking very loud and ignorantly to someone on the phone. She is not good for the business.

We stayed for 1 night. The room was ok. I feel like every room should have a refrigerator but ours didn’t. It was an inconvenience since it was summer and a heat warning

Got charged two seperate times. Said one was a hold … 4 days later and the charge is still there. They also put the hold on my card before I even checked in.

Elevator was down during our stay. Bathroom door would not close. Poor seating in the room, a cheap office chair just does not cut it. Best view of the tv was while seating on the toilet. No microwave or mini frig. in room.

It's a well established spot on the TCH midway across Newfoundland. There are additional amenities nearby. They let me do my laundry before checking in. Staff in front, restaurant, and lounge were great to me.

The room wasn’t to a high level standard. Couples room with queen bed. Bathroom had old petal sink. Wife had to lay hair dryer and personal affects on bed to use in bathroom. Tv was over in front of bathroom door instead of bed. Faded spot on wall where picture once was. When said it to front desk was told because we booked on line
