Mother Nature's artwork is on display in multiple places around Cushing. Just 25 kilometres away, Charles A. Lindbergh State Park is a great place to start. Sauk Lake sits 50 kilometres away and is another nice spot to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Take the chairlift at Andes Tower Hills, lap up the beauty of the mountains and then rocket your way back to the lodge. For more snowy thrills, hit the slopes at Mount Ski Gull.

Little Falls, 25 kilometres to the southeast, is home to the Pine Grove Zoo and the Minnesota Fishing Museum. Why not find your way there and stop by these wonderful attractions? Alternatively, head to Pillager, 25 kilometres to the north of Cushing, for the Classic at Madden's Golf Course and Beauty Lake.

You may get the urge to stay in Sauk Centre for a little while. This place is 55 kilometres to the southwest and close to the Sauk Centre Country Club, the Sinclair Lewis Boyhood Home and Sinclair Lewis Interpretive Center. Some other nearby sights are Sinclair Lewis Park and GreyStone Golf Club.
