Room was large! Great bathtub! Beds were comfortable. Did not eat at the hotel

The entire staff was extremely helpful they met us outside and carried our luggage in and later upstairs to our room. The concierge and assistant manager provided us with breakfast in our room at 6 am every morning because we had early tours. In addition they called taxi’s to take us into town. We also loved listening to the bagpipes at dinner time. The dining room was absolutely lovely as were the dinners which were creative and delicious. The bar was also wonderful and featured an incredible assortment of whiskeys. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Mere words do not do it justice.

The best part of the hotel was the location - you are steps away from multiple restaurants and pubs. Easy access to local sites and within walking distance to the train station. The staff was very kind and helpful too. The lights in the hallway went on as you walked, which was good for saving electricity, but it felt kind of dark though.
