Very cool design of the front patio/deck (like we were sailing with the oars, steering wheel, lantern etc) , cosy interior cabin with gorgeous art selections (loved these inside and outside), comfy and clean with all required essentials. Carembeen park on the doorstep was perfect for us and the 2 dogs who loved running around exploring everything. Host was very kind, efficient and clear with all communication. Recommend this for anyone who wants a break from the city/suburban life without requiring too far a drive. Creswick town was quite pleasant too with great restaurants and cafes , and did we have the space would have loved to carry home a few pieces from the vintage and aet shops around. Did not know John Curtin was born there.

Room was ok but was not as clean as it should be a lot of built up grime in the bath.

It was a lovely stay with delicious breakfast and beautiful garden at the back for a walk in the morning. They had late check in available till 11pm which was really helpful for us. We will definitey come back to explore more.

Lots of space, good layout, good quality materials & equipment.

Room was clean and well appointed. I was surprised the shower was over the spa but not unusual for country motels and not a deal breaker. Spa was big and deep, great for a long soak. Key wasn't in the room when we arrived but quickly arrived and staff were helpful and friendly when we had trouble figuring out how to lock the door. Room was quiet and comfortable. Bed was large and met our needs.
