The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. The only thing that marred our stay was the level of outside lighting overnight, combined with poorly fitting curtains, so the level of light in the room made sleep very difficult. Blackout blinds or curtains would be a great addition.

The man at breakfast omg! we took 2 tea bags for our room because the hot water for tea was tepid. He rudely said he was not serving brunch! Breakfast was crap and limited to beans, scrambled eggs and cold mushrooms. On arrival no one in reception so when we finally got a key and The room was not made up from last night’s occupancy we had to wait find someone again for another room. She huffed about it. Lady, not my problem. If you can’t be nice to customers when it’s your mistake you need a career change! The motel is very poorly maintained, worn ammenities, peeling paint and damp walls. Looks like it was built in the 70’s & nothings been spent since then! The king size bed was comfortable & the towels good. There are so many better options around stay elsewhere.

What a beautiful place, clean tidy and extremely friendly owners and staff. They are above and beyond a three star budget motel. My new favourite place to stay in Ballarat.

The room we were allocated was in dire need of an upgrade and things did not work properly. The main light in the room had blown or was not working, the TV required several tries to turn it on/off, the button in the toilet needs replacing and the key entry did not always function. The staff were friendly and obliging but there were no public rubbish bins around the property.

Very central location. Basic decor, but clean and tidy. A good selection in mini bar. Good menu in restaurant. Great breakfast included. The only thing missing is a lift for handicapped people. It meant my husband couldn't get to the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. We had to go elsewhere.

The included breakfast was great and it was very tasty. It is a very convenient hotel in walking distance to many eateries. There was only one tea bag when we arrived. No free biscuits but a selection of things to buy from the fridge. It is very good value for money.
