The following is a list of issues I had during my stay. I was given a room with one bed when I reserved a room with 2 beds. Also, in this first room, the ceiling was all spotted with brown stuff and the drippings landed on the bedspread.
When I mentioned that we were given the wrong room they tried to accommodate by giving me a twin size bed for the night. The next morning they made us remove our belongings which were not secured. I had to continue checking with the staff about the availability of the other room. Meanwhile my 87 year father and I didn't have a room to go back to rest during the day and had to carry a lot of our stuff with us. This was very frustrating. I felt horrible for my father who needed a cool place to relax. We didn't get the room until about 4 p m and only because I kept checking with staff and insisting.
Another concern was that the room was very slippery because of condensation. I was very nervous that my father might slip and fall.
Other concerns: hey do not provide washcloths.
We had a very difficult time trying to reserve dinner at different restaurants.They were supposedly full when we reserved but when we arrived they were not even halfway full.
Couldn't order Tbone steak because their "saw" was broken? They ran out of "towel" cards?
We came during the Iron man competition so I understand there was a lot of confusion but they definitely needed more staff.The staff that was doing registration was also handling minor questions.
