The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was pretty tasty and there was a nice variety. Our room was very comfortable and our airport shuttle was great. I’d definitely stay here again.

The Tru fumbled airport shuttle

The hotel is great looking and very comfortable. The staff was pleasant and courteous. The room doors I think are fire resistant: they are VERY heavy to open. I think due to this weight we heard doors shutting most of the night. We had to leave the hotel at 5AM for our flight. The Tru advertises 24 hour shuttle service to the airport; we inquired at check-in and were assured there was no problem. Getting to the lobby at 4:45AM we were told no shuttle until 7AM. They have a printed sign telling how to get in touch with Lyft, Uber or a Taxi. This leads me to believe that the early morning shuttle no-show is not a rare occurrence at The Tru.We had to pay, not the hotel for the Lyft/Taxi ... $20. One if our reasons for selecting our stay here was for that shuttle service 24 hours a day advertised. If it were not for this shuttle service feasco we would have given The Tru all excellent ratings but simply cannot excuse the shuttle service deception.

My room, the breakfast, and food store were great. It was a relaxing stay and the staff are very friendly. The shuttle service was nice too. I wish I had know there was a subway right around the corner that I could walk to but didn’t see it until I was headed back to the airport. I had searched the internet for a nearby place I could walk to for food but nothing close showed up.

When arrived to the property around 5 pm, my room was not ready. I did online check in and picked my room. They told me that I had to wait 1 more hour for it to be ready, if I did not wanted to wait, I could be assigned another room. Which I had no option since I was not willing to wait an extra hour for something they should have done 2 hours before my arrival as check in time usually is at 3pm and I got there at 5 pm.
