Highly recommend the Academy Hotel

We came in from Texas. The outside looked a little outdated, but once we walked in, the front staff was very knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. The courtyard looked like the pictures that were online. It feels real, homie. The pool was well-maintained and clean, and towels were provided. Our room was spacious and immaculate. The cleaning staff was great. They were very attentive and friendly. The complementary breakfast was great, the in-house restaurant was amazing and so was the service. The front desk clerks were amazing. They provided us with information about their local entertainment and attractions. What a great value. We would stay again when we are in the area. It is centrally located to everything.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is great and the servers are very friendly. Our room was clean and quiet as we were on the top floor at the end of the hall. We had a pretty mountain view from our window. Bring your own pillow and you'll sleep comfortably on the memory foam mattress.

I wish I could have hot water in the room - all they have is a coffee maker that depends on little plastic pods. They could try to be a bit more sustainability minded - why paper plates and plastic utensils for breakfast? The pool could be used for lap swimming if they were willing to designate morning time for this. The staff was wonderful.

A very nice property in a great location. The central lounges are fantastic. The rooms are a tiny bit dated but still great. Mattress and pillows were excellent.

Property was good, clean and everything you would expect from a hotel. It was the breakfast that was phenomenal! They had so many friendly staff working and the breakfast was so good! They even had a chef cooking custom-made omelettes! I’ve never seen anything like it before.

The Academy Hotel was a great place to stay for my wife and I on our first trip together in Colorado Springs. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The restaurant inside the hotel was very good. We had the loaded chicken nachos that were big enough for us to share. The continental breakfast was a strong 7 out of 10. The property was a bit dated, but overall a great place to stay if you are ever visiting Colorado Springs.
