It lies 430 kilometres to the south of Madrid, the capital city of Spain.

What could be more peaceful than burying your nose in a book next to the water? Go to Fuengirola Beach or Venus Beach for a sublime day out.

Head further afield of Coin and you'll come across some wonderful natural sights. Just 40 kilometres away, Treasure Caves is an excellent spot to kick back and relax. You also can't go wrong with El Romeral, 45 kilometres away from Coin.

If you're the sort of traveller who loves experiencing the true local vibe of the area you're visiting, Plaza de Toros de la Malagueta should be top of your must-see list.
