5 star for the staff - they were absolutely fantastic, helpful and friendly, but 1 star for the resort. Looked old and tired and desperately in need of an upgrade. Our bathrooms were hazardous and not appropriate for elderly or for people with limited mobility. Our Room Airconditioning needed upgrading. The place just needed a good wipe down - railings and every surface in the dining room was sticky - obviously never been cleaned or not cleaned properly. The food was mediocre. These are some of the things that were very obvious to us.

The resort itself was really nice, however our room(s) were not. We had 2 adjoining rooms, 1 being a single bedroom hotel suite, the other being a 2 bedroom apartment. 1 bedroom hotel wasn’t cleaned adequately as it was really dusty. The 2 bedroom apartment was really dirty!!! Dusty, sliding door tracks haven’t been cleaned in a loooong time, alfresco area hasn’t been cleaned in maybe months. Kitchen appliances weren’t cleaned either. The apartment is EXTREMELY outdated and that furniture is from last century!!! No adequate cleaning equipment in the apartment either. Dirty mop, NO VACCUUM to name a few. Very DISAPPOINTING. Just remembered the air conditioning in apartment was rubbish!!! Only worked in lounge room after a bit of persuasion & unit in bedroom was maybe some sort of decoration but definitely a waste of Space!!!

This hotel is probably one of the best options in the Coffs area. There is access to a restaurant for all meals. There are pools and a small beach. It is near the Big Banana. The rooms are small and only cleaned once during a 7 night stay. You need to go to reception to get clean towels, more toilet paper etc. Reception is not attached to the accommodation. The hotel is located on a golf course.

Unfortunately didn’t get a great nights sleep, felt like there was bed bugs in the mattress. Staff helped me to change my room but had the same problem with the mattress in the new room. Was told I’d receive a follow-up call, still waiting, now 3 weeks later. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.
