Check-in was horrible. AFTER pulling into the parking garage entrance, there's a closed gate and a sign saying"check in first". After calling the front desk, we were grudgingly let into the garage "for just a couple minutes". That seemed rude -- not nearly enough time for us to unload and bring our luggage to the front desk. The hotel is at the end of a pedestrian street, so there's nowhere else to unload.
At the front desk we find that "parking available" is a big MAYBE. You're supposed (try to) to reserve parking when you reserve a room. But there's only a couple dozen spaces in the garage, not nearly enough for all the guests.
Front desk clerk rattled off the locations of 3 nearby parking lots but did not have maps.
Turns out our room was in a separate building, reached by going outside, turning left, door on the left a ways down, before the statue. Glad it didn't rain while we were here.
The location was fine for what we planned on doing, neighborhood and restaurants were good,
