Accommodation near City of Dreams Manila

Great hotel and staff. Very clean and great rooms.

If I could give this property zero stars I would. Room was extremely small, not even room to open our suitcases, and had multiple maintenance issues, including the air conditioner not cooling, plugged drains, etc. When brought to the attention of the front desk staff (5:30pm) they couldn’t have cared less, and didn’t even offer to switch our room. A manager finally contacted us at 9:30pm wanting to switch our room or have maintenance look at the air conditioner, we opted for the latter since we had a very early flight. The manager was literally upset with us because we had the audacity to go to dinner instead of waiting for her to contact us, as if it was our fault the front desk staff didn’t inform her when we brought it to agents attention. Maintenance arrived only to tell us he couldn’t fix it because it needed to be serviced. I thought that’s what maintenance did, then why not block the room if the air conditioner can’t be fixed instead of giving it to a guest? Management wanted to upgrade us to a suite on our return booking, needless to say, I canceled that reservation, we would never stay here again or recommend it. I might ad, we were surprised at the amount of transgenders outside the hotel soliciting passerby’s, my wife and I have never experienced this before at the other hotels in the area. Having travelled the world, this hotel is by far the worst place we have ever stayed. Be warned!!!

Stayed for two nights in a double twin bed room. Overall cleanliness of the room appeared good at first glance. when looking closer, dirt was noticed in various spaces throughout the room. One example, pieces of debris the size of a fingernail were left under the glass that covers the desk area. The rooms were modern in design, however seemed tired in their appearance due to wear and tear. Our room was right next to the LRT line so you can hear and feel the trains go by. As the Hyatt is one of three hotels at the City Dreams Resort, they will not let you in the premises with outside food, forcing you to eat at one of the establishments on the premises. There are a couple of 24 hour restaurants, however there is a significant up cost on local filipino dishes that tased mediocre at best.

Even though i waited for the free hotel transportation, the free airport hotel transfer is not guaranteed. I waited for almost an hour and a half for

all good

I had the smoothest check in after an exhausting 20 hour flight. Tania at the front desk did all her magic. I will definitely come back here on my future visits.
