I recently stayed at Grand Westside Manila Bay, conveniently located near the airport and Mall of Asia. However, my experience was marred by a lack of staff availability, particularly during the check-in process. There was no assistance for luggage, which was disappointing. Additionally, the room size was smaller than expected, making for a cramped stay. While the location is advantageous, the service and accommodations did not meet my expectations. I hope the management addresses these staffing issues to enhance the overall guest experience in the future.

This hotel was exceptional for the price you pay. Stayed in the family connecting room which was perfect for 4 adults. Keep in mind the bed sizes are different (smaller) in Asia than in North America. The pool area was beautiful, and has a kiddie pool as well. There’s a sauna and steam room in the change rooms. The staff were extremely friendly, true Filipino hospitality. Would stay there again.

Food and beverage wouldn’t own up to mistakes they didn’t prioritize their customers experience cold food and bad quality. Refusing to comp one meal when I spent 1000’s of dollars in food and beverage was ridiculous. Unfortunately I would not recommend due to that Americans stay away.

The room I was given had slow drainage. Shower floor is always flooded during showering but will eventually drain. Same with the sink. And there is a musty sewer smell coming from the bathroom as long as i keep the bathroom door closed so it doesnt get in the bedroom its fine. Also my room is connecting room, and unfortunately for me the people next door are veryveryvery noisy. Shouting and playing loud music until 11pm, then again at 6am. Teenagers in the same floor also running around and shouting at the hallways too. Had to complain to the front desk about the noise. Location is close to Solaire and Okada, Ayala mall is about 1km away, nearby casinos and mall is walkable but the street isnt covered so bring an umbrella. Very nice pool and gym. I didnt get to see the steam/sauna probably inside the gym. Good breakfast buffet but more rice and bread options than meats. Staff service is great. Would have been a better experience if quiet day at a hotel, unfortunately for me i had teenagers in what seems like a school trip as neighbors so bring earplugs!

Breakfast food was missing, with used serving spoons not changed when finally new food was brought out. This was at 0900. tried room service grossly overpriced at 75.00 US for two burger meals. (US Maybe) nothing extravagant. Hall rugs smelled like sigerate smoke. Now the rooms were clean and fresh. Hot water was cold till i called for them to reset the in-demand heater(the heater is an assumption). I did not have hot water, and once the service came, it was good. Last big deal bearker. I would have rated my stay 2 or 3, but the door lice people are trying to sell you a condo every time you pass by. Absolutely, it was frustrating. same ppl, same no thank you. Find a spot in Makati or BGC, skip this one.

It was a good stay. We had an issue with the AC, and the technician came up to help. Tho the bathroom needs good shower cover or they need to install a glass wall since the water floods the sink/toilet area.
