This was a beautiful resort but what makes It so exceptional are the kind and caring staff. The location is about 10 mins away from city area or about a 30 min walk which wasn’t bad. It’s safe so you can explore how you like It! I will def stay here again if I come back to Chiang Mai no hesitations.

The room itself was wonderful. King size four-poster canopy bed, wet bathroom with soaker tub and hand shower, rain shower and hand shower, safe, wardrobe, mini fridge. The room is locked by padlock onto a timber bolt.i didn’t feel unsafe but equally, a determined intruder would have no difficulty. The included breakfast comprised a choice of two fried eggs or “boiled rice”, which was a soup with ground pork, rice and coriander/cilantro. Toast, with butter and strawberry jelly, instant tea / coffee / milo with sugar and powdered creamer coffee tasted good for instant coffee). There are proper cafés nearby, and coffee is served at a bar in the lobby / although I never tried it. The staff are delightful. The pool is dated but adequate. Very happy with my stay. If you don’t mind walking 30 mins to malls and Old City, it’s a great option for the price.

Good stay for one evening, there was a rooster nearby that crowed throughout the night, but I was still able to get some sleep. Light sleepers, however, may be affected. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean.

The hotel needs some refurbishment, the main pool was closed for cleaning for 3 days,, breakfast has to be ordered as not buffet style,sunbeds are hardwood with no cushions, the bed was comfortable, water pressure a bit slow,20 minutes to run a bath, ,I wouldn't bother with the pool access rooms or breakfast which woyld make it a much cheaper deal,only a 3 star for me

We were very unimpressed by this property. Sadly, it seems like this hotel was once very loved. There’s a lot of detail in the work that went into the original craftsmanship, you can tell. However, it seems like the property nowadays does not receive much upkeep. There’s garbage that randomly sits about the property line, and just a slew of little things that need improving. We would have been prepared for some inconveniences, but some are unacceptable. I was drawn to this booking because it advertised “a spa, poolside bar, pool access room, etc.” Our room was a pool access room, albeit a pool that was “being treated” during the entire length of our stay. At almost $100 a night in Thailand, one has higher expectations. If you book this property, just be cautious that it is more like a $50/night worthy stay IMO. I never normally write reviews, but I want others to know that we regret not booking a nicer hotel closer to the old town area for the same price, if not less expensive.

Booked this hotel on previous reviews, unfortunately this hotel was shocking, unable to use the main pool as it was unbelievably dirty (due to storm) but the small pool was clean? No cushions for the sun beds or day beds, most of the wooden sun beds were broken, 1 parasol which was also broken. Pool towels were available. The rooms were clean, no hot water for a shower, no furniture on balcony, had to ask for some. Screws exposed on balcony rail. Water provided daily, the staff were lovely. The breakfast was ok, would not stay here again. Very disappointed. Needs full refurb.

Nice place. I'd like to see it during the high season. During low season it was empty and left me to think too much and find issues in the room. I spent a lot of time in there, which was mostly positive. The negatives: The TV has local channels without ease of access to streaming services. The minibar in the room was nonexistent with the except of water bottles each day and a refill of the tea bags. Nothing else is in the room. Ants, but this is Thailand and if you have any trash they'll come find it. I opted out of daily room cleaning and ended up having a small issue with some ants picking at my trash. The fridge was really noisy and needed maintenance, so I just unplugged it. Overall: The property needs people to invest to return to its full potential. It's beautiful. Oh, and don't book the deluxe room. It's view is blocked by the pool and I promise you, if you're not expecting that you'll hate it and give them a 1 star. They don't deserve a 1 star. I believe 4. I would absolutely stay again. I wanna see it in high season.

We had room 115, it was very dark semi basement type room, we had a small backyard but it looked like an unfinished construction site. Definitely not a room to sit outside and enjoy the view. Good deep swimming pool on the property though. The building needs a touch up.

This hotel is a hidden gem with rooms that literally walk out to the huge pool. The outside decks and furniture could use an upgrade but the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The staff was friendly but they forgot to tell us that we could order food the night before since regular dining was not open. We were there during the low season and practically had the place to ourselves. There is a sweet English style cafe around the corner.

I ended up switching hotels as soon as I saw 2 rooms. The driver was very kind and their English was extremely limited- which I understand. I was not told to pay for the driver ahead of time and since my plane came in late, I had no way of exchanging currency. I was also told after calling several times that transportation was unavailable. They do struggle to communicate information. I walked in and there was a very bad, moldy smell. I still tried to give it a chance. Then I walked in the room, smelled bad, very wet feel and there was a huge dead roach by the door. They offered me another room upstairs and I tried. A lizard crawled from under the bed to go under the closet. I left immediately and went to another hotel. They did drive me to my new location. I am working now to get a refund. Very, very kind staff however, the pictures do not give a true description of what you will see in person.
