They’re doing a lot of construction, which I understand, the staff was not very friendly when I asked about getting a disabled veterans discount. She said we had already received a discount and that all it explanation she gave also the beds were not very good. The mattress kept sliding!!! we were gone all day to citadel and no one checked our room for trash or towels!

Unfortunately, we were not aware that the hotel was in transition to another brand. We drove around the area for about 30 minutes before stopping to ask if this was the hotel that we had reserved. We also didn’t know that the hotel was going through renovations. We were told that the we would be in a. Renovated room. However, the door to the restroom could have used some securing. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was rather lackluster when finding expired/frozen yogurt in the mini-fridge. The highlight was that the staff was very friendly and transportation to downtown was right outside our door-even though staff from the hospital used the bus stop for smoke breaks. We were able to get good recommendations from them of where to eat and what to see. We did miss the last bus coming back and found that walk was a little long but seemed very safe come back. We ate our ice cream and enjoyed the history of the architecture on the walk back.

Properly is under construction for another couple months but rooms new. By Medical complex and About mile walk to King street. Much more economical. Nothing fancy but did the job. Easy ubering.

After reading reviews I decided on this hotel for an emergency stay. Despite no mention of renovation, the hotel amenities were advertised but not accessible. They also decided to charge a $30 parking fee without notifying me or having this fee posted. The customer service agent told me that was my fault for booking through a third party.
