Pet friendly accommodation in Charleston Historic District

The hotel is perfectly situated to what we like downtown. Every staff member was helpful & nice. We stayed in suite 3D. The King bed is very comfortable. The American Leather pullout is very comfortable (our son slept on it). We were going to bring our dog, they even had a bed and bowls for him, but our plans changed. The turndown service is nice to get new towels after being out a shower and clean towels are appreciated. The shops in and around the property are fun. The landscaping and courtyard are lovely. The new American Park nearby is great. Save room for brunch (12-3 make a reservation) in the Palmetto room on Sunday (we were too full after our Sat meals) it looked amazing tomahawk steaks, pastries, etc. One issue is there's a separate door to the toilet from the sink area, I felt like you had to back up into the toilet to close the door. But a door to the toilet is always appreciated.

Beautiful hotel, great location fabulous restaurants all around. Very comfy beds great shower. Bar is very nice, shout out to Greg and Graham. Breakfast had a very nice selection of yogurts, fruit, waffles, biscuits grits etc. front desk staff were very helpful shout out to Jodyann.

The breakfast was great! We got 2 complimentary drink tickets for happy hour each night and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were dated but being in the historic district we expected that. And they were very clean. We had a great a stay!

This was an excellent place to stay for our trip to historic Charleston. The breakfast was amazing and the amenities were great! The location was very convenient for seeing the historic sites. I would highly recommend this inn.

Cheap Breakfast bag, no hot water

The breakfast delivered to my door in a picnic basket each morning was a very nice surprise. More than just a continental breakfast in a downstairs common area. The rooftop restaurant and bar was a great place to spend happy hour or finish the night. The pool/spa was a nice feature for such a small area, but the lack of an area to lounge and get sun was unfortunate. The location was great and the property was very unique and cozy. I was concerned about the lack of a gym, but they provided me with a pass to a local Wellness Center that had a great weight room and anything else that I could need. They also provided a ride there and back, but it was actually a nice walk in the morning. Overall, a great choice.
