The Sanctuary was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. It was very nice and elegant yet was not stuffy at all. We were all very comfortable on the property. The amenities were good. Lots of kids activities. The beach is quiet and clean. Service was impeccable. It will cost you though! Everything is very pricey

Lovely, comfortable home with everything you need. We loved that we could walk to the beach, we enjoyed nearby Freshwater Village, a deer passing through the backyard was a surprise treat and coming across the nesting turtle patrol on the beach was a real treat too! We’ll be back.

The accommodations, that were beautifully appointed, surpassed our expectations with its magnificent views, space, pool and play areas. The private boardwalk to the beach, which was a great backdrop for our family photo, enabled our family to view the wildlife while walking to the beach. Each bedroom had its own personality while maintaining the home’s good taste. Judi and Amanda, our host and property manager were very informative and responsive. It was the perfect house to stay for our large family of 15 with ages ranging from 8 weeks to 72 years of age.

Check in was easy. When we got there, everything was ready for us. 5 minute walk to the beach and the pool was great. Plenty of equipment for the beach and the two bikes were a fun option. Would recommend renting umbrellas for the beach. The house had plenty of space and the kitchen was perfect.
