My recent stay at The Charleston Place was exceptional in almost every way—impeccable service, outstanding food, and a warm, welcoming staff that made the experience truly special. Every detail, from the beautifully maintained property to the thoughtful customer service, reflected the high standards of the hotel. However, the one major downside was the quality of the beds. Both my mother and I experienced back pain throughout our stay, which was disappointing given the otherwise luxurious experience. The mattresses felt low quality and lacked the comfort expected at a hotel of this caliber. It’s frustrating because everything else was absolutely top-notch, and I would love to return—if only the sleep quality matched the rest of the experience.

Great place to stay if you love having prime location and great service. The only thing is while they are doing construction on pool and spa (until Summer 2025) make sure to ask at check in to be in a room away from that area of the hotel. Otherwise, lovely stay.

Would not have booked if we were aware of renovations underway. On vacation and awaken 2 of 3 mornings at 7am with hammering followed by fire drill practice same mornings. However, a beautiful property. The noise just took away from the experience.

My wife and I love the place and the staff is great. We have been planning on a once every month stay while we are working in separate places. However, that last time we were there the construction was horrible. We knew it would be on Friday but it flat out said not on Saturday. So we were kept up all morning with sawing. We are looking around now till at least he construction is over
