You can’t beat location. It was perfect to walk around and explore downtown. They had bikes we were able to use as well. But we were surprised to see how outdated some parts of the hotel wells and our room especially. We were upgraded for a small fee but the room was dirty and for that price point we were disappointed.

Rooms have significant variations

We supposedly were upgraded to a room with a window (original reservation was without); however, we belatedly learned that the tradeoff was room size (#255 was really cramped). All rooms have their own configurations, so I would recommend inquiring as to size and location within the hotel.that being said, it is unique, upscale, well appointed and well located, and I would stay there again.

We loved our stay at The Vendue! The staff was absolutely incredible, so friendly and attentive, and they made everything feel easy from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about making your experience great. The hotel itself is gorgeous. From the unique art throughout to the cozy, stylish rooms, everything had so much character. Plus the location couldn’t be better. It’s right in the heart of Charleston and within walking distance to everything. We already can’t wait to come back!
