“Sea La Vie” is a beautifully updated property with room for everyone just STEPS away from the beach. Enjoy the gorgeous views and peaceful atmosphere. This home is located in a gated community packed with many amenities. This home boasts four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, including a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor. Three bedrooms have a king size bed in each room. The fourth bedroom has a full bed along with a twin over full bunk bed that kids will love.

The house features a full coffee bar, BBQ, washer/dryer, and stocked kitchen. There are also plenty of toys, beach gear, books and games for all ages. Relax on the front or back patio, or take a walk down the beach and soak up the ocean air. Great spot for seasonal whale watching and keep an eye out for other sea life all year long!

Perfect location to enjoy many wonderful spots in the area. Head north on Highway 1 and grab a meal at The Whole Enchilada or other restaurants in Moss Landing. Keep heading north towards Santa Cruz and Capitola. Phil's Fish Market in Castroville is also nearby! Grab your golf clubs and head south on Highway 1 to Pebble Beach or any other of the world class golf courses in the area. The Monterey Bay Aquarium on Cannery Row is an easy 20 minute drive. A few minutes further south you will find Carmel-by-the-Sea, a lovely spot packed with excellent shopping, art and dining. This beautiful area of the California coast offers something for everyone and every age. Flying in from out of state? The Monterey Regional Airport is a 20 minute drive away and the San Jose International Airport is about an hour away. No matter what brings you here, we are confident that you will enjoy every moment of your stay!

Such a beautiful and comfortable property. We had 3 couples and everyone was super happy with their room. Would also be great for several families as they have a super cute bunk room for kids. The views are to die for and we thoroughly enjoyed our long walks on the nearly deserted beach. The clubhouse had several great amenities. We took advantage of the jacuzzi in the evening. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!

Sea La Vie gets an A

My wife and I (from NJ) visited our son and 2 teenage grandchildren (from Alameda CA). The 5 of us stayed at Sea La Vie for three nights the last week in June. Its location is terrific, right on the beach with an easy drive south to Monterey and north to Santa Cruz. We took advantage of it all with a tour of the aquarium, a whale watch, and a day at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. We also used the community pool and pickle ball courts.Sea La Vie is a wonderful townhouse tucked away in the pines of the Monterey Dunes. The home is beautifully appointed, and well maintained & equipped. Gina, the host, is terrific. She corresponds quickly, and makes her guests feel welcome and comfortable. The whole group agreed this was a wonderful place to stay for our family vacation.

Very comfortable home, well appointed, for extended family with all ages; easy walk to the beach; lovely pathways if you don’t want to get all sandy; perfect for cooking, grilling, hanging out playing games, watching movies, general family time. Easy access to Phil‘s fish house in Castroville, to Monterey Bay aquarium, and to Santa Cruz- perfect location, very peaceful, very safe gated community; nice tennis courts, pickle ball, pool and hot tub in community center. Very comfortable house. The owners have thought of everything you might need.

A week of Senior enjoyment

The 5 day stay at SeaLaVie in Monterey Dunes was a pleasure for all 5 of our active seniors. The accommodations were excellent; the views of Monterey Bay were wonderful; and the walks on the beach a pleasure. Our hostess, Gina, was an excellent communicator and responded quickly to all of my inquiries from the day we rented the home to the day of departure. Thanks from the five of us for a delightful stay.

HEAVEN. WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE

This was heaven. It was outside the budget we set, and so worth it. The location is amazing--it was central to things we wanted to do, but we liked the beach so much we, especially the kids, barely wanted to leave (remember this is a northern California beach, so chilly unless it's heart of summer). This long stretch of beach surrounded by pristine dunes was almost secluded. Beautiful windows look out onto the dunes and tips of waves. The owner was great to communicate and work with. The home is great--4 adults, an 11 year-old, 9 year old, 5 year and 15 months, and all were completely happy. The home is well stocked and appointed, they seem to have thought of everything.

Everything you need, including the beach!

Gina has setup this property to really make your stay easy and enjoyable. Everything you need is there and ready to go. Blenders to beach towels, all clearly labeled and easy to find. We were especially surprised with all of the coffee accessories. From pods, to bean grinders, drip and French press. What ever your style, you can make it. There are multiple thoughtful and personal additions to the house that really make for a great stay. The property is located in a gated community surrounded by dunes with lovely paths to the beach and paths to the club house. The gate staff are very friendly and made coming and going very easy. The house is an easy walk to the clubhouse that has different courts and outdoor games. The pool is open in the summer. And the hot tub was HOT and lovely. The clubhouse has a Sauna, but it was closed during our trip. The property is a short drive to local stores and shopping. Easy access for the basics. The surrounding areas are all farms, this makes it nice and quiet, and makes the fresh produce delicious. Make sure to visit the farm stands!! Yum. The drive to Monterey is easy and quick. The drive to Big Sur goes through Monterey, so plan for traffic. We all agreed that we would definitely want to stay here again and again.
