the staff seemed nice and welcoming. however, the rooms were quite outdated and had a strong and musty smell. the floors creaked and you can hear every noise through the walls. i did not feel particularly safe as a solo traveler. especially once i realize there was only one flimsy lock on the front door, and that the windows were only held shut by a single piece of wood. its not in a particularly bad area of town, but i definitely did not feel as safe here as i did in other motels just down the road.

It was such a wonderful experience to stay at this place! The Staff at the office was so nice and the lady was so friendly and kind! I’d absolutely recommend and would love to book again and keep it in my favorite places! Thank you Old Marina Inn!!!

the hotel staff with indian accent still need improvement in providing professional service: as they mentioned checkout time was 11am, however when we were running some errands and came back at 10am before checkout, the room card no longer worked, upon reporting issues at front desk, another woman with indian accent took the key holder coming up saying she will help opening the door, however she walked all the way down the hallway aimlessly, without ideas what to do, then came back repeatedly asking what room number is. Finally when the door opened, she spoke to us in a careless tone as "it's ok" -- huh? who told you it is? facilities are as described, no more comments btw, heard some loud noise in the midnight, which woke us once before alarm rang. opinion above is based on the fact, and the only suggestion here is to make your plans accordingly, depending on your budget and expectation 1 less star for service, 1 less star for disturbance, 3 star is the best we can give

Staff are lovely. No air conditioning so hot and smelly in the room. They provided fans after we asked them and promptly brought them to us. Carpet was old and dirty by the baseboards. Fridge was dirty inside. For 200.00 a night, it’s very low quality
