The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, but I had to book a taxi to pick me up at the airport, and despite the exorbitant price, it never arrived. The room with the mirror doesn't have enough light for applying makeup. The room's flooring is in dire need of renovation. Breakfast was the same every day, which I found awful.And the safe wasn't secured to anything and the hotel isn't taking responsibility, so what's the point? Terrible.

The building was absolutely beautiful, a historic landmark inside the old city and the room was magnificent. The staff was amazing, from our check in with Jeremy to our poolside dinner and cocktails courtesy of Edwin, to breakfasts with Fabian we loved the staff. We stayed in building 2 which had much bigger rooms. This was one of our all time favorite hotels!!

I had an amazing time at Nacar Hotel and Cartagena. This was one of the best trips I've ever taken. I will be coming back to stay again. Highly recommend staying there. I apologize I can't remember all of the staffs names but Christian, the young lady that was there when I left, and great security officer that was there every night. Such great service!!!
