The staff were amazing from beginning to end. My Spanish is not that great but I made it through. The pools were cleaned every single day. The breakfast was sprawling and fresh. The culture, the natives were world class. Cartagena owes me nothing! I will go back here a million more times. My suggestions are, take a trip to the Old City, Getsemani and do a tour of Cartagena with Chocolate Tourism. What an amazing trip for my daughter, she could not stay out of that pool. All 5 stars for me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

English Review Our stay at Hotel Caribe by Faranda in Cartagena was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was a highlight of our stay—delicious, with plenty of options every day. The food was flavorful, and the fresh juices were perfect. We also tried the brick oven pizza at the hotel, and it was one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had! We’d like to give a special shoutout to Nayib, the elevator attendant, and Jesus D. Altamar, the manager. When we had some issues upon arrival, Jesus was incredibly kind, respectful, and professional. He resolved everything quickly, which made us feel valued and comfortable. Thanks to him, we decided to extend our stay for another 8 days! The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet, with very comfortable beds—we slept like babies every night. The hotel also has great access to the beach, and the price was very reasonable for the quality of service and amenities. The staff was consistently friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Hotel Caribe by Faranda to anyone visiting Cartagena, and we can’t wait to return! Overall good hotel

We stayed three nights, the room that was initially given to us, was not meeting our criteria in terms of noise and other factors like the air conditioning, but they changed us to another room, and that was more spacious, and the air conditioner worked great and it was quiet. The amenities at the hotel are unique because of the animals, we did not have time to use the pool or the spa, but they look nice. There are several restaurants, the breakfast that was included multiple and any choices. The staff was very friendly, especially Cesar and Angie Who helped us out many times. We didn’t speak much Spanish, so that sometimes was challenging, as most of the staff is not bilingual. Overall, we had a pleasant day, but just so you know in terms of American standards it would not be a five star hotel. The rooms are a little dated And the amenities are a little lacking for the five star standard but it’s definitely a good four star hotel. This is located outside of the wall city and it will cost you about 10,000 pesos or a few dollars to get to the Walled location. We prefer the more modern and quieter location as I heard in the city. It would be noisier.

Glorious grounds, beautifully lit up at night. Loved the deer, cats, peacocks, parrots and cats wandering the gardens - and the friendly toucan, who came to the bar for a drink. The hotel room was spacious, not in the latest decor but perfectly fine. The food was plentiful and the bar menu was delicious. Easy taxi ride into Cartagena and for access to the Rosario islands. Wonderful destination for winter sun but brush up your Spanish!

We had the best girls' trip vacation! The hotel was beautiful. The grounds were amazing. We loved the wildlife, deer, and beautiful birds! The breakfast every morning was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed all the variety of fruit and offerings. We decided to visit annually as we had so much fun and made many memories. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and we felt safe and well cared for the whole time. We would highly recommend it to everyone!
