Nice hotel

Friendly staff and clean room. They had coffee and tea available 24/7 also a wine and cheese hour in the lobby daily from 7 to 8. We enjoyed our stay.

Very nice and comfortable room. My only complaint would be the limited bathroom counter space. The furniture is very solid, quality, lots of big drawers, good for a long term stay, TV has a lot of channels. They give real keys, no key cards.

No insulation between the floors. We were on main floor and we could hear constant banging and stomping from above. Very noisy. Coffee in room was awful. Patio needed to be cleaned up. Lots of weeds. Bikes were old. They did offer apples and oranges which was nice. Staff was very friendly.

Wonderful Stay with Beautiful Views Had a fantastic experience at Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the mountain views from the property were absolutely stunning. Loved the relaxing atmosphere—perfect for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommended!

The hotel was cozy and charming and we had a great time in Canmore for 3 nights. The only reason we knocked a star off is some of the outdated-ness affected our comfort. The pilot light on the fireplace seem to give off heat, which would kick the a/c on and blow uncomfortably into the person on the bed closest to it. Meanwhile, everyone in the rest of the room was feeling hot. The beds were also a little bit uneven and sloped toward the middle as though used beyond their lifespan. The toilet needed a double flush. But it was clean and we enjoyed the wine and cheese on the Saturday night check in.

Our stay in Canmore was good. The hotel room was spacious. Check in was friendly and quick. We found it pricey for what we got. No pool, no continental breakfast. The sink was clogged and not fixed during our stay.

Three of us staying on route to a photography seminar, we had lots of gear & luggage. We were given a room on the 2nd floor, we asked if there was an elevator, as you can see our luggage cart was full. The FD staff replied yes, and directed us to the elevator. When the door opened, it was weird, directing us to rooms with 400 room numbers, Then a client was heading to their room, seen our puzzled looks and he said, are you looking for rooms on the 2nd floor, yes we are. He goes follow me... opens another door to the left, and says here this is where you have to go. but there was a staircase ahead of us and our room was further away from the entrance. We started to lug everything, and the genteman who helped came out of his room brought another guest with him, and they assisted us to bring in everything to our room. I went downstairs to talk with the FD person who checked us in, and she told me she was new, this was her first day, and had not been shown around the property so was not aware of the staircase off the second floor. The balcony was nice, however the views of the other properties behind were not great. The $5.00 breakfast meal was great too, and luckily we were still able to order at check in as I had responded to an email sent the day before arrival, asking if this was something we would be interested in as there is no restaurant at this property. I ordered 3 breakfast meals then, but FD had not received this information.

The view of the Three Sisters Mountain from the front of the hotel is absolutely spectacular—a true highlight of the stay. The area feels safe and is conveniently located, just a 20-minute drive to Banff. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. However, one downside was the bathtub, which was clogged during our stay. Aside from that, everything else was enjoyable.

My family of 5 stayed here for 1 night. Check in and the property itself was good. I forgot a set of clothes i wore the night before and didnt notice until a few hours after check out. I called and spoke to front desk and they instructed me to call the next morning when house keeping was in. I did and they had half of my clothes (pants and under clothes), but somehow my brand new sweater and tank top were "not found" Really disappointing. Only assuming the house keeper helped themselves. Would recommend double checking that you dont forget anything of value, because i doubt you'll ever see it again.
