The only issue I had with this property was the room. We had booked a carriage suite which could hold 13 people as per Expedia website. I received a call the day prior to our stay that the suite was not available. We were not in the position at that point to get another suite as Canmore is extremely busy during the summer months. I was offered an adjoining suite which meant enough room for 8 people. We had to purchase another room to accommodate everyone. With that being said it was an extra 600 plus added to the bill on top of the 1291.00 we already paid for 2 nights.

It was a little expensive for what it was but it was August long weekend. $9.00 buffet was basic good for the price. It is right on a major railway line so lots of trains but they didn’t really bother us. Ask for a room on the street side if you are a light sleeper.

Any and all sound from the hallway is heard in the rooms. Disrespectful guests with zero courtes, for whatever reason have no issue with talking as loud and a human can talk for their entire duration of walking in the hallway. Maybe in their home country this is okay, but in Canada, I'd prefer to not be woken at all hours by this.

Mr Harsh the manager was fantastic. Extremely helpful and courteous. The property was very good and staff was nice. Pricing was reasonable as compared to other properties. I would love to stay there again.

Breakfast room was spacious and buffet was better than most chains. Walls and doors are paper thin. There was a cacophony in the hallway every morning at 630am. Also, freight trains run about 9 meters behind the building several times a day. Staff are exceptional.
