Our room was gorgeous. Ground floor walkout with plunge pool walk 40 feet and your in the turquoise water of the Caribbean ocean. The staff would always greet you with a friendly smile and by the second day they called you by name the specialty dinner on the beach was fantastic. We had to special thanks to Ephraim for arranging a wonderful meal, both nights Reves in the pool bar along with his staff were wonderful lots of laughs around the bar top for sure

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Izla! The rooms are absolutely beautiful—spotless, modern, and very well maintained. Everything felt clean, fresh, and thoughtfully designed, which made it so comfortable to relax after a day out. We had the top floor room with the bathtub on the balcony. The all-inclusive dining was excellent, with a great variety of options and consistently high quality. What truly stood out was the exceptional service— the restaurant and bar teams were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond by remembering specific details about what we had eaten and drank the day before. Combined with the clean, well-maintained pool and beach areas and the beautiful views, the experience felt both relaxing and genuinely personalized A special shout-out to Yeimy at the concierge, who made our trip effortless by helping us book all of our activities and transportation at very reasonable prices. She was incredibly helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. We truly loved our experience and would absolutely recommend Hotel Izla to anyone visiting Isla Mujeres. We can’t wait to come back!

The staff was so helpful and kind. We didn’t not eat at the hotel. The location is more remote but nice and quiet and relaxing. We had issues due to a Bug in shower, lack of towels and mold in the room (smell of mold was strong).

The room and facilities was nice and clean. However, since we purchased the all inclusive package we were expecting a bit more variety when it came to food. They had 1 restaurant open the entire time and menu was the same EVERYDAY. You can imagine how redundant that can be for 5 days with the same food options. And it wasn’t like they had a huge list to choose from. There was another restaurant that the staff said was open for dinner (Italian) but they never opened during our 5 day stay. Needless to say we were very disappointed.

The room was okay, not very clean. Bed was comfortable. The staff super friendly. We did not have all inclusive so drinks and food were very pricy. I liked the location, you can walk to restaurants in the area. If you have small children they will love the little beach. I personally wished they clean the bottom the there would be more sand. I do not recommend staying.

We purchased all inclusive. They had the same exact subpar menu every single day! Alcohol only included cheap liquor. For two drinks with Tito’s and cranberry we were charged $40 and said that was a 50% discount. Do not waste your money at this property! They did not clean our room at all the entire 5 night stay. They made the bed and we had to ask for clean towels every single day. The floor was dirty and they never swept or mopped it.

Our stay was a week long in October. The weather was beautiful. Even when it rained it was SO warm. The staff are the most incredible humans. We have pictures with them we plan to send back. We had the ocean front room with a pool on the patio. The patio pool is small but nice to take a dip after being in the ocean. I would recommend bug repellant of some sort if you want to spend any time in the pool at night time. The mosquitoes are insane. The big pool is gorgeous and was practically empty the whole stay. There is also an adults only pool on the top floor. It is more of a lounge pool than a swim pool. It was also empty 99% of the time. The beds and pillows were fairly comfortable. Shower was clean, had good water pressure. The only thing I would say is that if you are doing the all inclusive and are there longer than a week, the food may get boring.We tried everything on both menus. There was not any food that wasn't delicious. Our favorite was the tomato cream soup, I could eat that every day forever. It was exactly the relaxing vacation I had hoped for. Thank you to Jose Luis, our favorite waiter, along with Ninette, Adrian(bartender), Julio, Arturo, and anyone else we missed. We will definitely be back to this resort. Snorkeling: We saw a small ray and lots of fish just swimming off the shore. We took a snorkel excursion with a company we booked at the hotel and saw ray, barracudas, and lots of colorful fish.

The hotel is clean and the employees were freindly. This place is not family friendly though. They blast loud music at the pool bar until 11pm most nights but sometimes even later. The roof top pool/bar was rented out for a private party when we were there that had room shaking base until 2:30am, I could literally hear every word to the songs from our fourth story room. The food in the restaurants is mediocre at best. Make sure that if you pay with a card you see the server enter the amount due because they will add their own tip without your knowledge so we tipped again with pesos. The room ventilation system is not great, the floor and bed are constantly wet from the humidity and the rooms are very musty. We stayed here hoping to be away from the craziness of playa Norte but unfortunately that didn’t work out and we didn’t not get much rest. The area is nice and there is some tasty restaurants a few minutes driving down the road. We really enjoyed Kin Ha day club which is close by.

The hotel was in decent condition but was older and needed updating.It was clean and staff was friendly. Food left us with indigestion and bloated.We had all inclusive and our friends paid same price as us and they also booked through Expedia and when they arrived their reservation did not have all inclusive on it and Expedia was impossible to get a hold of and when we’d finally get through to someone we would get disconnected.when we got to an agent they said nothing they could do about it. Terrible!
