Buxton Winery Accommodation

Location is excellent. Staff all very friendly and professional. Rooms tired, dated and not the cleanest. Breakfast excellent

The bed is too high. Staff is nice. Walls too thin.

Very enjoyable stay. Great room. Sadly did have have time for the spa; just had a view if it from my room.

The hotel didn't look to bad but I was shoved into an annexe which felt a bit second class citizen. Room was OK poor TV channels

Expedia listing did not say the room I booked was basically a basement prison cell without the benefit of a window. Horrible. No one answers the phone at this property. When you call the number on Google you get charged, even if you hang up the moment you hear the voice saying you’ll be charged. Car Park blocked by bad parker , despite telling the front desk, car did not move so I had to park off site. Never stay at any hotel managed by this chain for the sketchy phone system alone. I have >£2 of charges which isn’t a lot of money in the big picture, but not something hotel guests should ever have to pay, especially when I hung up right away It was the local number I found that no one ever picked up. Bad.

Lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was fantastic. Very good food and the historic building was really interesting. Would recommend and we are likely to return.
