Upon arriving, staff were very pleasant and helped us promptly. We were assigned our room and upon entering the room we noticed it was hot. We try to adjust the thermostat but it was not working and since we arrived late in the evening, we decided to deal with it until morning. The next day, we spoke with staff at the front desk, they were very helpful and sent maintenance to the room. Maintenance informed us that the air conditioner was just turned on for the building, they had been working on it and to give a few hours to cool the room. We left the hotel and came back late afternoon and the room was still hot. The front desk offered us another room at the other side of the courtyard. The air conditioner was working better in that room and we stayed there until we checked out. There was a smell of mariguana in my room after coming back from lunch, security was called and they said they couldn’t smell anything, but the smell was there and we had children under the age of 4 sleeping there. Security did walk around to see if they find the source but we never heard anything back. In the meantime, we left the room and returned late at night and the smell was 90% gone. Whoever was staying next door were load, we called front desk to complaint, but I don’t think nothing was done since the noises continued. As far as the hotel itself; the bathroom was clean but the bathtub had stripping paint and the tiles had some signs of mold on them. The courtyard was clean and kept beautiful.

Everyone was kind, the breakfast was great, parking and check in/out was easy. It was easy to get to from the highway. The only bad thing is that it was a little run down with lots of repairs needed. The hallways, flooring, wall paper, outlets, and lighting was in need to repair.

Amazing swimming pool with jungle like surroundings, smooth and very pleasant shuttle to the airport, huge room- a bit dated but for the price paid no complaints whatsoever! They are renovating and making upgrades, the hallways for example were beautiful.

They cancelled my suite last minute and still tried to get me to pay the full price of the suite. The room I ended up with was SO HOT and the air conditioner didn’t work. And you can hear everything in the room next to ours.
