We love the Grand Decameron. Its very casual, food is good and rooms are super clean. Its close to Bucerias, a 7 min walk, which is great. Bucerias has a great outdoor market and many incredible restaurants. What I didnt like was having to pay for rooms again even though I booked the entire package on Expedia. Package for all inclusive, flights, rooms was paid in full but Expedia never paid the hotel. I had to pay again when we got to the hotel. Then, while trying to enjoy my vacation I had to deal with Expedia to get my money back for paying twice for our room. In the end, after many emails, Expedia reimbursed me but what a hassle while on vacation. They never offered anything to compensate me for my trouble. I'm very hesitant to use Expedia again. After talking to a few people I hear this is very commom for this company. That's suprising for a company of this size. I give the Grand Decameron 4 stars and Expedia 0 stars.

Our room was definitely in need of an upgrade. It was on the 3rd floor of Building 6 and was an ADJOINING room with some rather noisy neighbours. Food was OK, not great. The wine was substandard (watery). Definitely will not go back

Solid 3 star. Very clean, food is good. Almost impossible to get a dinner reservation at one of the a La carte though so you need to eat out of you don't want to Buffet 3x a day. Great location, perfect beach, friendly staff.

Safe resort this was our first time in Mexico we felt safe inside and outside resort The market was about a 20 min walk away no issues walking there and back Beach was lovely great to sit back relax and walks day or night Resort was good a little far from city but u can take public bus or cab cost you 40-60 paso Lots of stuff to do at resort Great entertainment every night, staff was really nice and helpful Most staff understood English Was a great resort food was ok Buffets open was good but repeats after awhile They have special restaurants you can book into but you have to be booking at 8am. Restaurant only can be booked once a day so you have to get up 8am each day and only can book one spot per room. Rooms were clean and nice beds weren’t to bad little firm. Great resort for sitting, relaxing, and pools were great Only thing pool towels were confusing and only 2 booths. Need to be put on map u get. 7 days was enough for us but did some great tours. Great experience

The rooms were clean, and the food was good, the staff were all friendly and helpful! Nobody made you feel unwelcome, the entertainment was great! It was my wife’s and I’s fifth wedding anniversary, and it was amazing, it was my wife’s first timeout of country and she was blown away by the resort, the people, the food, and the culture! She shed tears of joy everyday at the beautiful resort and people!

I left the Decameron yesterday, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Our room was cleaned everyday, the grounds were immaculate and the Service was amazing! Javier at the block 4 bar was outstanding! If you want to relax and have a Great time, I highly recommend this resort. And also, The Rhythm of the Night Show, mesmerizing ! Thank you to all of the staff for making our Vacation a success. See you next year!

We had an ocean front view, which was beautiful, however, very noisy at night. There were two very loud weddings during our six stay night stay. The room was very small and out dated. There was a small 20 inch TV on the wall, however we had no remote to operate it. I requested a remote three times and gave up after that. The air conditioning has highly ineffective. The lowest we were able to get it during our stay was 26°C. The room has limited storage and a small closet, so be prepared to live out of your suitcase. The mini fridge did not cool and left a giant puddle of water on our floor. Food quality was decent at all restaurants, but wine is terrible and the alcohol choices are very limited. Roger in the sports bar was my VIP of the trip. He was extremely gracious and provided excellent service.

Room was great, staff were helpful. Beach and pools were awesome! Food was not good and was annoyed by having to wait at 8 in the morning to book for a sit down supper. Both of us got sick.

We loved our visit, the rooms were clean but slightly outdated which is fine, you dont go on vacation for the rooms. The staff was all friendly and helpful when needed. The food was phenomenal so many wonderful options for those who are willing to try something new. Very safe, i ended up losing my phone and hat on two separate occasions and one of the guests brought my phone to the staff and a staff member recognized me and told me he had my hat. Walking distance to the grocery store and some flea markets. Had no issues with reservations as we linked our wyndham rewards and they gave us different restaurants each day. Recommend bringing floaties or a sleeping pad for the beach as the chairs are quite hard, but otherwise great time. Would definitely come back!
Note was left with our tip that we were celebrating a birthday and this is what the staff did for us.
