It was an overall a nice stay

When i book a hotel the main things im looking for are a decent, clean hotel with nice people running it. This hotel checked the boxes. Its nothing fancy, but is nice enough for a good nights sleep. This is what I appreciated...there were no bugs, they do the blanket between 2 sheets thing instead of a top comforter that never gets washed, and the floors were the vinyl plank rather than carpet. All of those things give my cleanliness piece of mind in a hotel room! Front desk staff was very nice, helpful, and efficient! Breakfast was small but decent options for a quick bite. Beds were very comfortable!

Amazing experience, clean, quiet room.

I liked how modern and clean the rooms were. I booked two rooms, I loved that the hotel called me to ask my estimated arrival time and asked if I would like my rooms connected by an adjoining door. The gift shop sales clerks was so nice and supportive. I needed a razor and he helped me locate one in the store, asked me for my players card and offered me to use my casino rewards. I was on my cell phone not paying too much attention to the transaction and quickly realized he was looking out for me. Ultimately I was able to make the purchase using my reward points and no additional funds came out of my pocket. He also kindly provided me with a print out of my rewards status.

This historic hotel interior is designed as if it were 1880. The rooms are that way too. Great bar and nice restaurant, where the complimentary breakfast is served (vege frittata, scones and coffee, tea). It’s a well run 5 star hotel in downtown Grass Valley.
