This was our first stay as a family with our new pup and it was fabulous! Close to the garden for transportation or events. We loved the location. Everything is withing walking distance. The street side made it easy to go anywhere we needed or wanted to. The river side was beautiful at night to just sit on the benches and watch the city lights dance on the water. Will definitely be coming back to this Royal Sonesta.

They messed up my booking and overcharged me. I had booked on Expedia and they charged me again, added a few more charges, removed some..did not send me the recpt they were supposed to,.. It was a mess and it took me an hour on the phone after I returned to get things cleared up.

Housekeeping every day was nice. However, on our checkout day, someone entered our room without knocking, realized it was still occupied, and quietly left — which was a bit odd. Upon arrival, we noticed a few stains on the curtain and found the previous guest’s water bottle and pill container behind the desk. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have coffee in the room. The iron and ironing board worked great, which was a nice touch. The location was excellent, and overall the stay felt good — just a few details that could be improved, especially at this price point.

It was so lovely, location was pretty nice, design and service were really great. We ate in the American Restaurant, I jogged on the river with many others in the morning and the service was absolutely lovely. There was one guy at the reception that was so talkative in an obtrusive way, but everyone else was so so sweet, eager and gave the kindest most empathic service.
