Perfect for me, a single person traveling overnight without much luggage. It’s just what I needed - small, clean, well designed room in safe locale with friendly, attentive front desk clerk. I got a nice greeting when I am arrived, which was quite welcomed as the listed address on Expedia is confusing. The hotel is on S. Charles St. or Charles St. South not 78 Charles St., which is half a mile away. SHotel is a solid, well renovated, older red brick building which maintains a personal human scale.
Love the floor tiling paired with modern sink, shower toilet.

The internet is super slow. No watermaker in the room, you need go to the lobby to get hot water. The room is very small but clean. People who work there are very nice, the two stars give to them.

I had never stayed in a shared space situation before. It worked out well enough. My "roomates" were all very quiet and respectful. Couldn't beat the location - around the corner from a major hub and couldn't beat the price.
