Copley Sq Hotel

Overall great but I wouldn’t be able to do more than a night based on my experience. The biggest issues were: • no outlets in the bathroom • very poor water pressure and no actual shower head - just tub fill and a handheld option that’s bolstered lower on the wall • mattress ok not the most comfortable but not the worst

Unfortunately this hotel wasn't great. Check-in was fine but our room smelled musty. After returning from a night in the city we got back and the elevator was broken, had to be taken up to our floor in the freight elevator. Our tv didn't work and the shower wouldn't turn on. For $300 a night, I expected better.

Hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Great location. Room was small but comfortable. Bathroom was small - not much space for personal items, no real counter space. Overall nice hotel and would stay here again for a short visit.

The hotel was in a great location. All of the attractions were walkable and beautiful restaurants and shopping were close by. The room was very dated. There were stains on the carpet. The bathroom was extremely small. The toilet was running very loud for the duration of the stay. After telling the front desk staff about a problem and the noise a few times, nothing was done. They told me that there were no other available rooms. Listening to the loud noise for five nights was very problematic for sleeping. The response was disappointing considering the bathroom and bed were right beside each other. The hotel room was extremely small and only big enough for one person.

Incredible location with easy parking

What a location. There are 2 T stations close by and easy to get to. We used SpotHero for parking and stayed right in the Copley Square garage. The hotel is across the street. It’s got a great vibe to it and was very comfortable.

We didn’t enjoy the hotel

The location was great, but beside that we didn’t enjoy the hotel at all! The hotel is VERY old and outdated. Bathroom door didn’t close. Window frame is peeling. It has a very uncomfortable smell. A/C has its own mind (doesn’t respond to increase or decrease of temperature). We took 2 rooms and it was the same for both rooms. We were very disappointed. Will never go back nor recommend it.

I nice boutique hotel in a great location

We stayed for 2 nights. We walked to Fenway the first night. For the second day, we took a trip through the public garden and Boston Common. The hotel has good public transit access and is a reasonable distance to downtown. Even mid-range properties in Boston can go for a high price. This hotel is an old property that has been renovated. The room is spacious, but spartan. The bathroom was clean and functional. The hotel was well maintained. But it was very reasonable in terms of amenities and cost for this area. We would stay there again work or leisure.

Nice Copley Square experience

Great location in Copley Square near Newbury Street! Decent room size. Bath a little quaint but typical for retrofit hotels like this. Would definitely visit again.
