Excellent customer service!!

The front desk workers, Marvin especially were wonderful! Him and his manager were very kind and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The pool was closed when we arrived due to being cleaned, we let them know we booked this hotel due to the pool for our son (we were in town for a medical procedure for him) and they ensured it would be open in about an hour. This morning we left for said procedure, there was a scheduling error so we returned to the hotel hoping to have access to our room again (it was 7a) and we had 2 hours to kill - the front desk worker was so sweet and said we could use the room until we had to leave again in 2 hours.

Very loud ! Requested another room but was denied. Also beds were very dirty, dried blood on pillow case and possibly bed bug eggs. Hopefully we will have taken enough precautions coming home as to leave all our stuff outside and wash everything immediately.

Not happy with the hotel in general, asked to change rooms and was to.d since I had booked with Expedia there was nothing that could be done. Have stayed at several Hampton Inns previously and have never been treated differently for the way the reservation was booked. Would not stay at this property again.

Overall the property was nice but the walls are super thin. The neighbors were disturbing our sleep with all their talking. The police were there when we were checking in but they were respectful of the guests and handled the situation professionally.

Hilton has gone downhill

People were all very friendly, but if you take the best people and place them in a broken process, they will always fall short. No trash pulled, despite asking. Hampton’s housekeeping leaves lots to be desired. You cannot get your room touched up during your stay. Getting fresh towels is a challenge. The desk said they had no towels, but they would if they stopped by daily to pick up what was on our bathroom floor. Again, people were very nice, but I don’t believe they are given the resources for success.

I would give 5 stars but the biggest turn-off for me is (regardless of where I stay) the dust and black mold built up and visible on the heating/ac unit...And the tub/shower, the visible mold. I understand this is related to housekeeping and rushing through, but should definitely be taken care of. I would still stay again but those 2 things should be looked at and cleaned/wiped down daily.
