Great location and hotel

Really nice hotel and staff, great amenities with breakfast options and restaurant. The only improvement would be to add a fridge in the room. Perfect location for visiting the city and the beach

Over all we had a great experience at Ibis, very friendly staffs, clean, and easy access to trans and beach. I just wish they had refrigerators in their rooms.

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a comfortable stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and they have a nice rooftop bar as well. Rooms are standard, have all amenities but nothing special.

Very small space. Hotel advertises AC but more like a warm draft in the room along with the lingering smell of mildew. Couldnt even open my suitcase in this tiny excuse of a room. I highly do not recommend this hotel. Shop around barcelona and youll find a better place than this easily.

The location was perfect for public transport (Bogatell Metro is a 1 minute walk – only a 5 minute ride to the international conference centre and the same time away in the other direction from Le Barceloneta) and cool areas like the Port Olimpico marina, Parc de la Ciutadella, Arc de Triomf and Pobleneu are all a very manageable walk away. The Sagrada Familia Basilica was within 20 mins on foot and we walked all the way back from our visit to Parc Guell too. The latter was not a short walk but was really interesting, including the lovely Mercat de l’Abaceria indoor food market. The area had lovely cafes and restaurants nearby and two convenience stores within a couple of minutes for water, fruit etc. I actually only used the in-house café on our last day and the coffee was the nicest I had all week. The outdoor courtyard was lovely for a latenight glass of wine to unwind. There’s a rooftop pool, bar and sunbathing area which is small but perfectly functional and is a nice place to chill. We didn’t eat there but the breakfast looked lively and on our last night I saw a man eating what looked like a lovely steak. There’s a taxi rank too, so longer trips or airport returns are super-easy. Staff were polite and helpful. Our room was turned over daily and was clean with a lovely shower and more storage space than originally met the eye. The TV and WiFi both worked well, as did the room’s aircon. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this hotel again.

Mother Daughter Trip

I literally cannot fault this hotel. It had a very welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, the staff were always cheerful and helpful. The facilities were immaculate. The food was delicious. The bar was well stocked. We were well looked after during a significant power cut too! I mentioned we were travelling for my daughter’s 18th birthday when booking - at check in she was wished happy birthday and given sweets, and when we got to our room we were welcomed with cake, balloons and a birthday message on the mirror. These personal touches meant a lot!!
