The retreat was beautiful. Great views, long deck, lovely sunbeds to laz around on. The fridge had been pre stocked with maleny yoghurts, milk, fruit, bread, honey and marmalades, vegemite. And cereal on the bench. They had two microwaves, cling wrap, oven with pots and pans. pre stocked dish washing liquids, soaps and shampoos. Double spa bath and large double showers. We kept very warm at night with the fire place. It was great!!

We had a romantic night away and was lucky enough to be upgraded. Such an amazing place and you won’t be disappointed. The place was so clean and tidy and very private. We are already planning to return. Thank you

Stayed at Maleny Tropical Retreat recently, and while it has a lot of potential, some upkeep issues made the experience less enjoyable. Pros: • Location – Fantastic spot, easy access to local towns. • Views – Absolutely stunning scenery, a highlight of the stay. • Atmosphere – Quiet and peaceful, ideal for relaxation. • Space – Rooms are spacious, offering a comfortable environment. Cons: • Maintenance Issues – Noticeable wear and tear, particularly with furniture. The outdoor couch had ripped covers. • Cleanliness – Excessive dust buildup on mirrors and picture frames, showing a lack of thorough cleaning. • Kitchen Condition – A glaring hole where the dishwasher used to be, which is now dirty and messy, detracting from the overall aesthetic. • Bedding – Sheets and underlay didn’t properly fit the bed and were showing their age, leading to an uncomfortable sleep. Overall, it’s a great location with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. However, the accommodation could use some serious attention to maintenance and cleanliness to truly make it an excellent stay. If those issues were addressed, it would easily deserve a higher rating.

Hit the jackpot.

Decided on a last minute night away and hit the jackpot. Absolutely beautiful location with views over the paddocks and out to the lake. Clean and tidy and so easy to come and go. We loved our stay.

What a wonderful place into which to get lost. Loads of privacy, quiet (except for the churping birds, croaking frogs, and baying cows), and safe. There are stunning views, lots of room, and the fridge was stocked full of yummy options and kept us fed for 3 days. Thank you!
