The spa facilities are excellent and well maintained. However, the choice of eateries in the area were limited and the hotel options not value for money. The hotel offered a shuttle bus to from the hotel and city centre due to a 2 day taxi strike. This gesture was greatly appreciated. Overall , the hotel has great facilities and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Food and beverage needs some addressing

This property fails from a Hyatt standard point. Pillows are horrible, two twin mattresses are sold as a "king mattress." Sleeping in the crack is fun! Jets from the so called "private pool" ran all night, no way to shut off! Bland food Great view, however nothing else..

The staff was very personable. I was kept up to date as the status of my room since i arrived early. The staff offered things to do around the area, restaurants, and best options to get around.

Disappointed with the staff placing us in the area that smelled like raw sewage. The staff checking us in mentioned Expedia reservation and I knew we were going to be placed in a not so nice room. The rooms were nice but the area was not. Smelled horrible near the bathrooms by the pool. Luckily we were there just two nights and were in our way home!

We had the pleasure of staying here during our recent trip, and it was truly an excellent experience. The room was spotless, well-designed, and fully stocked with everything we needed — fresh towels, a great shower with consistent hot water, and a clean, comfortable bathroom. The amenities made our stay extra enjoyable — coffee and supplies were ready, and everything was thoughtfully prepared so we could simply relax and enjoy. What really stood out was the staff: they were friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Communication was clear and quick, which gave us peace of mind while traveling. After visiting many places on this trip, I can honestly say this property stood out for its quality, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

My stay at the Grand Hyatt Athens was a mix of positives and areas for improvement. The hotel is quite large, and while that means plenty of rooms, it also results in long waits for the elevators and during check-in, which was a bit frustrating. The surrounding area isn’t the most appealing, especially if you're looking to explore on foot. Some parts of the hotel could use an upgrade, particularly in terms of cleanliness and upkeep. That said, the rooftop breakfast was a highlight—great variety, delicious food, and a beautiful view of the city that made mornings something to look forward to. Overall, a decent stay but with some room for improvement.
