We stayed at Athens Gate hotel twice. Both times we were happy with our rooms that overlook the Temple of Zeus. This hotel has the perfect location. Close to the Plaka, Acropolis, restaurants, shops etc. The complimentary breakfast buffet was an added bonus with views of the Acropolis. We would stay here again.

Hotel clean and near the Acropolis. Breakfast was chaotic with a buffet similar to those at a Holiday Inn. Dinner was excellent but very limited menu. View from the terrace was outstanding. Our room was subjected to street noise even with windows closed.

The hotel is in a centralized location to all major sights and is very clean and comfortable. The rooftop bar and dining was spectacular between the views, the food, and the service. I would highly recommend to others and I would absolutely stay here again if I have the chance.

Amazing views from the rooftop restaurant. Great breakfast buffet with an assortment of regional dishes. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Rooms are well appointed and very clean. Good attention to detail. We arrived early in the morning, and they immediately tagged our luggage and carry ons to put into storage until we could check in. Luggage was in our room before we got there.

Room was clean and comfortable, nice view to the Temple of Zeus from the room. Hotel location is fantastic, 5 mins walk to Acropolis entrance, Museum and Metro. However, no parking even if you want to stop for a minute to load up a rental car - it is on a very busy street. Staf is not very friendly. Very business like, and will answer your touristy questions like a robot and are in a hurry to be done with you.
