Great location and affordable

Right in the center of things. A short walk to the Acropolis, restaurants, etc. Fabulous rooftop restaurant on site with a great view. We had a balcony, comfortable bed and a lovely included breakfast. We had to leave at 3AM on our last day, they packed us a lovely breakfast to go!!

The Athens Gate is our go to for accommodation in Athens. It is centrally located and is in close proximity to the attractions eg acropolis plaka, monasteraki, museums, the tomb of the unknown soldier and shopping/ restaurants. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean. The breaky is buffet style and yummy.

Room we stayed was a little tight, but nice. Great rooftop bar restaurant for viewing and staff was nice. Probably a solid 4.6 property by most standards. Easy walk to Acropolis museum. Can get a little turned around if you go to Acropolis/Parthenon so maybe pin your location for finding your way back.

Amazing customer service. Staff friendly and helpful. Very comfortable beds. Athens in August very hot and hotel air conditioning worked exceedingly well. Roof top dining a treat with a great view of the Acropolis. And don’t miss their breakfast as you won’t be disappointed.

Centrally located hotel with amazing roof terrace overlooking the acropolis. Great cocktails. Amazing choice atthe buffet breakfast. The staff were welcoming, friendly and really helpful. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer.

We truly enjoyed this hotel and highly recommend it. The doormen and front desk staff were always pleasant and helpful. The room with a view of The Temple of Zeus was spacious, beautiful view and always clean. And to top it off the restaurant was amazing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner the food was delicious. And the view can not be beat in Athens.

Staff was very accommodating and the location is excellent. Easily walkable to all the historical sites and restaurants. We had an early flight that required a 4am airport transfer and the hotel staff set everything up for us with no issues. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

My seat was broken and would not recline 25c. The stewartess had to push with her whole weight while i pudhed the button to get SOME recline. To pull forward for landing she had to push it forward. I paid "EXTRA" for that????? Wasnt happy for the full length of the midnight flight
