Very clean, modern. Great breakfast. Enjoyed the "nature path" walk behind the Met to the train / tram. A bit of a walk if you have much luggage, upon departing we elected to Uber vs use the train.

The staff was so excellent, very kind and helpful. The lobby which also serves as the bar and restaurant had amazing music. The breakfast was quite tasty. The property is walking distance from bus, tram and metro and they sell the traveling passes at a reasonable rate.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff, amazing hot and cold buffet breakfast. Nice garden in the back. And lounge. Close to supermarkets. A little far from city centre, suburb area feeling ( 5-10 min to metro or tram then 20-40 min to get to city centre). But direct train to Shiphold. Room very clean, stylish and comfy but small (no desk, no fridge, limited storage). Difficult to eat in room. Extensive use of fragrant room airfeshners ( why?)

Overall rating would have been higher, however the property refused to acknowledge and compensate for notification of bedbugs. Myself and another traveler both received bites at the beginning and end of our 5 day stay. Service from management to address the issue could have been handled significantly better.

I had a great stay at the Met Hotel Amsterdam! The location was super convenient—it’s not right in the busy downtown, but really easy to get around with trams, metro, trains, and buses nearby. It’s close to Postjesweg and Lelylaan Station, which is a big hub, so getting to the airport was just one stop away. It was also easy to reach Amsterdam Centraal. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were amazing! So friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. They really made the stay even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Located outside of the center, the metro station is walkable when you need it, there is a store nearby if need anything to buy. The hotel and room was nice and clean and the staff were always polite and kind. We had no issues staying there. Only thing is there’s no restaurants close by and the one in hotel didn’t have dinner.

Really really surprising on the rooms very very clean. Very nice rooms modern up-to-date. Staff was absolutely fantastic. Bent over backwards for you. The area is more residential. Very easy to get an Uber or a taxi.

Front desk worker was barefoot.

The initial appearance of the hotel is great but it’s really about the comfort and level of service I disliked greatly. The was a front desk person who was working barefoot - that’s behind a bar. Very disturbing.

Great stay in Amsterdam.

Hotel was beautiful and trendy. Spotless clean. Corridor itself had beautiful aroma. Great variety of breakfast including all meat options being halal. Loved the complementary iced water with lemon and mint. Very helpful and welcoming staff - always ready to help and made great recommendations. This was true for all staff, but in particular we wanted to thank Abdulqadir who also advised on local restaurants and the nearest mosque. The hotel was nicely placed - Lelylaan is the nearest tram station and train station linking it v easily to city centre and airport. (Nice canalside walk right up to Lelylaan station, and more well lit street walking opitions when walking at night). Enjoyed runs around the lake. We hired a bike from local shop, but hotel offered hire service and I bet the quality of bike would have been better than what I had from the local shop.
