Huge hostel with plenty of rooms and plenty of activities. The toilet/shower facilities are kept in pristine condition. Yes it is in Amsterdam Noord (other side of the river), so you'll have to take the ferry, but it's free and it runs very frequently and late at night too (up to 2AM when I was there).

I had a room switch not once, but twice: three rooms in a two night stay (this was due to a messy hostel mate, a broken lock on the door situation). But despite that the staff was really nice and handled the situations great! The facility itself is simple, clean and maintained great. Location is across the river from the main hub but the ferry runs non stop all night and it’s free. Pretty good for the price paid!

Great hostel. Shared amenities were fantastic, lots of activities on offer and great breakfast. The rooms were pretty good, it did get rather hot and the windows do not open, but there were some fans provided. Had some issue with noisey dorm mates - but that’s not something the hostel has control over. Fantastic location, very easy to get into the city with a quick ferry that goes about every 5 minutes. 100% recommend and would stay again

Generally good.Even though I booked 4 mixed dorms, it was so difficult to take a shower when the one person wanted to turn off the light. There were no curtains, so all the noise and light affected everyone. It was not a comfortable place. By the way, the location was good. Locker is a bit expensive.

I really enjoyed the daily options put on by the hostel, the rooms and staff were amazing. People were nice. The ferry back and forth was amazing by itself.

Hostel not hotel

It’s basic but very clean. It is a hostel rather than a hotel and so does not offer some hotel services but for a couple of days it’s fine. Bunk beds only. Friendly staff

We booked a private twin with bathroom. The listing did not mention the twins would be bunk beds. The room was very utilitarian and felt like a prison cell. Not good value for money.

I really loved this accommodation but I can’t give it a full 5 stars because our room specifically didn’t meet the highest quality which was disappointing. The room was dusty and I didn’t feel comfortable moving around. No towels or toiletries provided even though it was stated they were for private rooms. I had to ask for them at reception but I was even given a dirty towel so I had to go ask again for another one. I told the receptionist about my concerns and they said that housekeeping will just refill the toiletries/towels but no housekeeping checked our room at all until the very end of our stay. I really liked everything else about this accommodation and I just wished my concerns were solved during my stay. I’d love to go back here when I’m in Amsterdam again but I am hoping your rooms are presented to the highest standard next time.
