Location is ideal right? In the heart of all things Amsterdam, it's on the road with the most photographed leaning buildings... Very convenient to walk and explore the charm of Old world Amsterdam... Right in the heart of the city. You have canals, bikes for rental, Bridges location is superb ... When we checked in the air conditioner was shooting out some kind of black soot so they changed rooms. The room they changes to the air conditioner didn't work at all. It was a bit of a rough start. They got the air conditioner working and we were pleased with temperature... I'm close to review the next morning. The shower was quite dirty with a fair amount of scum Aunt black mold in the corners which was disappointing to find leading to the overall feel of uninclindliness. Then my wife went to dry her hair and the hair dryer didn't work. We'd ask for a replacement that never came. So we asked again for a hair dryer and A iron to be able to get our clothes pressed... The iron never came. They eventually did change the hair dryer Keeping in mind it is an old old building. Things happen. The staff was fairly friendly but you had to be consistent for the follow through. The gal that helped us was very kind and did her best to accommodate The location is very well suited for enjoying a quick stay in the midst of everything.. don't know if we'll ever be back in this region. I'm not sure if we would stay here again but all in all we enjoyed our visit to Amsterdam

The hotel is in a central place and walkable to all attractions. The staff where courteous. The rooms were on the smaller side.

I had to wear ear plugs to get to sleep. We had a 2nd floor canal view room. Heard the people talking on the street until 2am. Asked for a room change, they gave me 4th floor and still had to wear earplugs. The windows are single pane with no sound barriers or air gap stop. If the rooms were quieter this would be a fantastic place. Beds were good, service great, bathrooms a bit wonky and definitely not for the obese or long-legged.

Excellent location! We had a canal view and it was spectacular. Nice room. Loved the coffee set up (espresso) and snacks. One issue- our room has a step up as you came in and a small step up into the bathroom. Both trip hazards. Overall stay was very good.

Great hotel with lovely staff and rooms and a handy little shop for snacks and drinks. Breakfast was good value and there were plenty of other eating/drinking options nearby. Easy tram links to station and all the shops and museums but we could also walk to all the main attractions. Highly recommended- would definitely return.

We arrived on King’s Day. Do not ever go to Amsterdam on King’s Day. It is worse than Mardi Gras in US. Filth all over the city. The filth was still there on day 3.

Our stay at the Eden Hotel was outstanding. The property is clean and well-kept. The front desk staff goes out of their way to be helpful. The property is well-situated within walking distance of all the major sights. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the housekeeping. While our room was made up neatly every day, it was not restocked consistently. However, when we asked at the desk, things were restocked immediately. We would definitely recommend the Eden and would stay here again ourselves.
