Great location, within walking distance to all of the main attractions. We had a room in the opposite building so coming in and out of the hotel takes longer than usual. Other than that, very clean and friendly staff

The Radisson Blu was a perfect choice for us . Its right in the center of the city very close to everything we really didn't want to leave. We walked everywhere so bring comfortable shoes. Restaurant were everywhere around us. And the museums were right down the street. Central Station was about a 10 min walk . We were a few blocks from the red light district and De Oude Kerk . We walked to the Heineken experience. I had no idea we would be this close to everything. So wonderful and time saving. The room was pretty big had a canal view abd the staff was very friendly. They even held our luggage after we had already checked out so that we could go to dinner one last time before our flight. We will definitely return to this hotel again.

Staff good. Paid to upgrade to Superior room but was a mistake. Last time I stayed in normal room it was good. This time they said the superior rooms are across the road but u need to go down to -1 level in the main building, walk through the hole under the road and take a lift again to your room. Long journey, not what u want when back in the hotel tired. Its a nice hotel but not sure if its good value for money. Superior room was nothing special, just a few metre squares bigger, it was a waste of money to upgrade

We were welcomed by professional and courteous reception staff upon our arrival to what is a wonderful and unique hotel. The room was nicely furnished, had a high ceiling and a very comfortable bed (no memory foam or mattress topper thankfully). Apart from one day when the cleaning staff forgot about us, it was the perfect stay and one we hope to repeat next time we visit Amsterdam.
