Why not make your way there and check out these wonderful sights? Or, head to East Tawas, 20 kilometres to the south of Alvin, for the Iosco County Historical Museum and Dewey Durant Park.

Travellers often make the journey to Alpena. This place is 60 kilometres away and quite close to Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, Thunder Bay River Lighthouse and the Alpena Golf Club. If you're staying on a while, remember to visit Island Park and Wildlife Sanctuary and Blair Street Park.
