It lies 1,600 kilometres to the west of Washington, the national capital of United States of America.

Everyone knows that spending time outside in nature can make you feel happier and healthier. In light of that, why wouldn't you journey 30 kilometres out of Albany to Quarry Park and Nature Preserve? Nature Trail Park, just 30 kilometres away, is another recommended option.

Located 30 kilometres away, Joe Faber Field is a favourite for baseball followers. Pack some blue and red, and time your visit with an exciting game featuring the home team, the St. Cloud Rox. You can also throw your support behind the second home team, the St. Cloud University.

Golfers of all skill levels will love a round at the Albany Golf Club.

All of these attractions are pretty close to the middle of Sauk Centre, 30 kilometres to the northwest. Have more time on your hands? When you're set to fly home, allow yourself plenty of time to reach Minneapolis - St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Situated 140 kilometres to the southeast from the centre of Albany, this is the closest terminal.
